This group project was for Govanhill Baths Community Trust, a large grassroots anchor organisation based in the Southside of Glasgow.
The trust has plans to refurbish the Edwardian bathhouse turning it into a permanent wellbeing centre. Within the centre there will be swimming pools, a sauna, a gym, all the things that you expect in a leisure centre, but it also has the addition of meeting rooms, a dance room, a museum and a café.
Govanhill Baths Trust asked us to help develop a distinct brand for their Wellbeing Centre. English is not always the first language spoken within the community. This was vital part of the thought process behind the design.
